It doesn't get any better than this...

Charlene and I met at Rita's house Friday morning
and we headed to Center Harbor, NH to visit Keepsake Quilting.
With list in hand, I was able to find almost everything I needed
to finish my Christmas projects.
The clerks there are so helpful...and were even happy
to take our picture.

Lunch at the Canoe restaurant after
our shopping experience.

Saturday we gathered again....this time for Project Linus Blanket Day
held at Prides Corner Congregational Church in Westbrook.

It's always a fun time to gather and make a blanket (or two)
for Project Linus.

Charlene finished the cutest Ronald McDonald
print...Some child will just love it!

Hannaford Bros. contributed coffee and pastries
and Subway brought us sandwiches and drinks.
Local businesses sponser the Blanket days
and are very generous with their donations.

I chuckled noticing who had the largest shopping bag from the quilt shop! And the Linus Blanket project, sponsored by local merchants providing refreshments, is a fabulous idea. Our Park Sierra quilting group has done many blankets for an abused women shelter providing blankets for them and their kids. But having refreshments provided is a wonderful idea. Think I'll have to look into this!
