A couple of days at Disney World

On Tuesday, we drove to Orlando to spend a few days at Disney World. We checked in at the Regal Sun Resort and were getting settled, when someone arrived at the door with a Bottle of Wine and basket full of fresh fruit, cheeses and crackers. It was a gift from Management, welcoming us. What a perfect start for a great getaway. This was the view of Disney Downtown from our room..
A tree made of poinsettias greeted us at Epcot...

Beyond beautiful....gardens at the Canadian Pavillion

Pere Noel

Imagine beating this drum for 15 minutes...
Can't believe how strong these Chinese Ladies were..
Tree at American Adventure

Fife & Drum marching down Main Street....

Train Village at Germany

We ate at an Italian Restaurant in Italy
rested our weary bones and then headed over
to Magic Kingdom for the big parade...
This was magical!
Walking down Main Street, it began to snow....
(and it was 83 degrees!)

This castle must have had a million lights!

and the parade begins....
We went over and sat next to a young Mother
who had 2 little girls....It was so precious
to see and feel their excitement...
This is what the Christmas spirit is about...

One of my favorite Dwarfs!
He put on a show for the kids...
big and little

All of a sudden, we could smell gingerbread
and then came the Gingerbread Men!!!
(how did they do that?)

My very, very favorite!
The Wooden Soldiers...

How did that present get in the parade?
I think that's the one Guy is giving ME
for Christmas....

and the float all the kids were waiting to see...
Good ol' Saint Nick!!!
What a wonderful experience this was....
certainly put us in the Christmas mood..
Only wish was that our Family could have been
here to share it with us...
