A Fun Day with the Matsko's

Steve and Linda are on a business-pleasure trip in Orlando this week
and drove over today to spend the day with us.
It was a beautiful day, in the 70's with a northwesterly wind.
We gave them a tour of our little community, ending up
with a walk on the beach.

Linda and Steve in front of our Olympic size, heated swimming pool.

A view of our building...our unit is the one with the American Flag.

We drove over to the Locks....there were about 10 Manatees swimming around.
View of the Cruise ships from the Locks

On our way over to the National Seashore, we were delayed by the boats waiting to come through the Inter coastal waterways.

There was a flotilla of boats that came through.
One motorboat, all the others were sailboats.

A view of the Space Center from the seashore.
Discovery is housed in the gentry on the left-hand side.
Was scheduled for lift-off over a week ago, and with their
many problems, it may be next year before they are able to go up.
The seashore was absolutely beautiful today.
Seas were rolling between 6-8 feet.

We spotted one of the many Armadillos that live here.
Spotted 2 huge spider webs...

It was amazing to see....
We were on an alligator hunt, but only saw 8 today.
It was a really fun day...too bad we had to end up at the Condo
to see the rest of the Penn State/Ohio football game...
