Signed up to take a tour around the Island today....turned out better than yesterday's fiasco....we were in a van with 2 other couples, so it made for a more friendly outing. One couple was from Austria and the other from the UK. They did make a few scheduled stops, but they were interesting and we didn't feel like we had to buy something....
this stop was at a little Tea Room where we enjoyed a cup of hot tea and ginger cake, which was delicious.
there were lots of "Rum Runner" boats, packed with college students enjoying the scenery and beverages!
our next stop was at a beautiful garden with nature all around us
then back to the ship where we sat out on the Observation Deck and enjoyed a couple of Bloody Marys....
an addition to our little zoo sat on our bed when we got back from having dinner and enjoying the Magician show.....
Thursday was supposed to be a leisurely day at sea, but turned out to be moving day for us....after spending another night listening to the base of the music beating in our ears, from the Teen Center directly below our bed, we decided we couldn't take another sleepless night and moved up to the suite on deck 9, which was much quieter! It was worth the hassel to get a good nights sleep, believe me!
