It was a hot day and after Guy got out of work, we went down to the Marina and took Seabatt (our dingy) out across the bay for a ride around the waterfront. Stopped by to visit Paul on his boat on our way out

Lobster Buoys
Mike Libby, a good friend of Paul's owns this Lobster Boat. This is where we buy our Lobsters...can't get them any fresher than this!
It's always interesting to read the names on the boats...wonder what the story is behind this one....(in case you can't read it....it's "Captain Underpants")???
A view of some of the huge pleasure boats that dock here on there way up the Coast...
We were just chugging along when we came across this huge yacht.
This one is worth a couple million, for sure!
As we bounced up on her platform, I looked up and saw several people looking down at us!
I asked if we were late for cocktails and they said we were...cocktail hour started at noon!
One of the ladies came down and helped tie us up and asked what the problem was. Our motor
was steaming and she said to wait a minute and she'd get one of their mechanics to look at it.
He came over and discovered we had taken on some seaweed, and told us to wait a few minutes
and when it cooled down, it would probably start again.
In the meantime the lady and I were chatting about this n' that and it's a good thing I
had my sunglasses on, because I would have been blinded by the size of her diamond ring!
WOW, it was the biggest I've ever seen.
The mechanic was quizzing Guy about places to stay up the Coast and so Guy was giving
him his best tourist tips and we felt that they were about to ask us aboard.
Just then, one of the guys from our Marina happened by and said he'd tow us across if we needed some help....and broke the spell!!
Our engine was started and all was well again.
What nice people they were...
When we were home again on Sea-bbatical, we fixed ourselves a refreshment, climbed up on the flying bridge and just enjoyed the warm breeze and breathtaking views.
Thought the reflections in the water would make a neat photos.
