Wed., Thursday and Friday

Guy bought a flag kit and was trying to install it off the railing on the deck...I say, tried, because as he took the instructions out of the little attached plastic pouch, the rubber band broke off, hitting the cardboard instruction sheet, hurling it out into the wind. Guy thinking he could just go downstairs and retrieve it, looked down to discover it had landed on someone's deck below. He was grumbling and sputtering about that for awhile! I told him it would be a good way to meet your neighbors...just go knocking on doors, until he found the paper. He didn't agree! So our flag is on the deck now, wrapped around itself looking more like a Barber's Pole than a flag. We are expecting the Building Captain to come knocking at our door, telling us installing Barber Poles are not within the Condo rules.

We have a great view of the Cruise ships leaving port this year...if looks like you can almost touch them as they float down the outlet....Here's one from the Carnavel line... and following close behind is the Disney ship..

Ron Jon's timeshare is next door to Solana Lakes.....and you can see the smoke stack from the Disney ship as it goes by in front of the building....

Wednesday night was the Book Club at the Club House. The monthly selection was Jamie Ford's "Hotel at the Corner of Bitter and Sweet". I highly recommend it as most of the members agreed.

I started up with the Water Aerobics group on Friday morning. We only meet Mon-Wed-Fri until after the Holidays when most of the SnowBirds begin moving in. There were only 6 of us but it was good to see familiar faces again.
Friday evening we drove down to Cocoa Beach and attended the Steak Feed at the Elks Club. Again, it was nice to see faces we recognized and certainly enjoyed the feed, bringing back a huge "doggie bag" with us. It did seem strange to drive back to the Cape in relatively little traffic, especially for a Friday night. I guess the Snow Birds do make a big difference with the economy in the area.

I miss and love you so much.

Your place looks fantastic! We're having miserable weather here with lots of rain and gloom. I'm jealous. Enjoy! :)

Hi Joni,
I was wondering what happened to you guys since April . . . maybe more quilting than blogging! So you're already back in Florida, and enjoying some warmer weather. Welcome back to Blogging Land! I missed you!
