The week in review....

Thursday, I went to a "Newcomers" luncheon as a guest of Kay Hughes.

We met at Caraba's Restaurant, where I enjoyed a Chicken Marsella meal and then listened to a local woman who is a Life Coach. Her topic was 'Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus". It was both humorous and informative!

Wednesday, 19Th they Christened the Disney Dream in the Port.

It was closed to the public, but did broadcast the event on TV.

The Dream was sitting in the middle of the harbor and we wondered just how they would be able to do the traditional "christening" with a bottle of champagne......and true to Disney style...along came a helicopter, swooping down to pick up the 25 foot bottle

carrying it out to the ship...

and then some sort of giant cutter came along and knocked the bottom off the bottle, spilling the contents into the water below....

Monday, Jan. 17Th was Meghan's 22Nd Birthday....

She's back at Quinnipiac for her last semester in the Nursing Program.
Happy Birthday Meg ....

The Social Committee met this week to plan our activities for February.

The men are going to put on a Gourmet Valentine's Breakfast on the 13Th. Guy is insisting he can cook pancakes on the grill....we'll have to see how that plays out.....

A Super Bowl Party is also in the works...Guy is in charge of selling squares for the Pool....

On Saturday, it was time to cleanup the beach area.... We got quite a haul this trip....

...a new addition to the group..

Carol Lehman joined us to pick up trash...

We always stop along the way to have breakfast,

needing nourishment to continue
