Winter Park

After our company left Saturday after breakfast, we decided to take a drive over to Winter Park. Several of our neighbors have been raving about this area, so decided to check it out for ourselves.
The travel book describes Winter Park as one of Orlando's greater and most refined neighborhood which took off in the 1800's when wealthy northerns came south and began to build winter retreats there.

It is indeed a beautiful spot, they have a huge park where families gather to picnic, play ball or just sit, relax and read.

We walked up and down the main street, looking in (but not stopping in)
the quaint little shops, restaurants, bars etc.

We fell in love with this area and are planning to come back, spend a day exploring, have lunch, visit the Museum, take the scenic boat tour.
