Super Storm Sandy hit on the 29th....we were without power for 3 days.
Luckily, our neighbor was able to get hold of a generator which he shared with us so we wouldn't lose all the perishables in our refigerator and freezer.
Eating by candlelight...not very romantic but it worked! Thankfully the weather was mild and we didn't have to worry about being cold.
Murphy has spent a lot of time in Bug Light Park this year....He loves to chase the ball and play with the other dogs who visit.
On the weekends, a local vendor comes down and sets up his array of kites.
It draws a lot of visitors to the park and they are fun to watch.
Cirque came to town and we were able to get tickets and enjoy the show.
Aleina, our Granddaughter who is a Senior, played her last Soccer Game of her High School career.
Our friends, Al & Claudette live in Fall River, Mass. Al volunteers at Battleship Cove. We decided to take a trip down to see it for ourselves after
hearing all Al's stories. It was well worth the trip. The guys enjoyed reminiscing about their earlier Navy days.
