Guy entertained....

Guy decided to do a little entertaining while I was away...He's still trying to perfect his Escargot recipe...
and from the reports I'm hearing, he has!

He invited Joe and Pat over for dinner and

they have been raving about it ever since....

Weekend Activities

Arrived home from my Diva Week early Saturday morning.

Guy was out on Beach Cleanup Patrol and when he came back we decided

to do something together, so jumped in car and headed south.stopped in Vero Beach at the Mulligan's Beach House
There was live music playing, the sun was out, warm breeze
and water shades of greens and blues.

A beautiful afternoon to enjoy

Ordered one of our favorites... a Reuben
and a Margarietta to wash it down....

Drove on to Ft. Pierce and St. Lucie

stopping at various points to enjoy the scenery and
sights.

On Sunday, we drove over to the National Seashore for the afternoon.

The weather was even better (if that was possible)

took a walk along the shore....

then had a picnic of fried chicken and potato salad.

About 3:45 we saw the Astronauts pilot their training jets from Houston for their shuttle flight scheduled for Thursday afternoon at Kennedy Space Center.

Last Diva Day

Our Diva Week has come to an end:(

Today was our last day and we decided to just do nothing but relax all day...
We went over to one of the 9 on site pools
found a sunny spot, swam, read and snoozed....

and of course, there was lunch....

Rita found a shady spot and started knitting....

while the rest of us read in the sun

We've packed up and partially loaded the car

we'll be leaving early in the morning.

All good things must come to an end....

A Day with Harry Potter

Our plans today were to spend it with Harry Potter

but first...we rode the wave~~~~~~~

then visited Jimmy Buffet.....

Had to go through Seuss Land first...

climbed aboard the Carou-Seuss-El
and took a couple of spins around...

They did a wonderful job with the outside of the town.....

the inside was a different story...

The few shops that were there were very small & very dark

It seemed like there were only high-end souvenirs.

Then we went for a tour which claimed would bring you through

the classrooms and corridors of Hogwarts. It was all so dark, we couldn't distinguish the classroom from the corridors.

The only entertaining part of the tour were the holographic portraits.

Rita and Char left while Charlene and I ventured on to the unforgettable thrilling adventure. It would not be a ride I would probably do again!

We couldn't wait to get a mug of Butterbeer....

it was wonderful and quite addicting....

(by the way, I have the secret recipe for it)

Charlene was itching to get on this ride, but couldn't talk any one of us to join her.....

back through Dr Suess Land before leaving the park for the day....

We all joined Charlene for this ride......

What a perfect souvenier shirt.....

we were all tired, but happy until we got to the parking garage

to find out the battery was dead!!! After AAA came to the rescue, we

were back on the highway, heading back home.

Cirque Du Soleil tonight

What do Diva's love to do? Go shopping....so this morning, we did just that....a little Quilt Shop Hopping....Char and I fell in love with both of these quilts and we ended up buying both the patterns... They will be such fun projects.....

I got the pattern and fabric ... another project in the wings....

We were in our glory...shop after shop after shop.....

We had a quick bite to eat at Blue Brothers before the show.

Enjoyed great hamburgers....

Then went over to Cirque Du Soleil's

"la Noumba".

I highly recommend this show...it was fantastic...

When we got out to our car, I spotted this car next to us ..

I wonder how long it took the driver to find where

he put his keys....
