Air Force Space & Missile Museum

Tuesday morning we headed to Patrick AFB to pick up a tourbus that went to the AF Space & Missile Museum. It is the site of the 1st maned space flights. Appolo, Mercyrtm Titan, Delta's and Gemini programs.

It was quite interesting visiting the blockhouses and learning about the early space flights. We also visited an 1868 Lighthouse.

Please note the picture of Andrew with his hand outstretched.....if you stand just to the right of the lighthouse, with your hand outstretched, it will look like your holding the lighthouse up...obviously Andrew's angle was a little off, because it just plain didn't work!!!

It was another perfectly wonderful Florida day...temps about 84...and forecasted to be the same all week..
