Feb. 1st, we decided to take the first step....
we went over to the DMV (the place you want to spend the day:(
to get our Florida Drivers Licenses....
After we got our number, waited for over an hour to be called, got up to the window only to discover we didn't have all the necessary paperwork!
So we had to come all the way back to the Condo, get the paper we needed, drove back, waited and then were issued our licenses. We also registered to vote at the same time. I have to admit, it made me feel pretty funny about the whole deal....
Tuesday was a beautiful day here in Florida, sunny and about 75 
Tuesday was a beautiful day here in Florida, sunny and about 75(unlike the rest of the country, where they are getting hit with another snowstorm)....so we decided to celebrate by having lunch at Mulligan's by the water.....
When he saw Escargot on the menu, he ordered it for an appetizer!
He is gathering all sorts of recipes to make this dish when Craig visits in March. This one is topped with Panko bread crumbs .
then....
Guy ordered what he thought was a routine crab roll, only to discover he had ordered Sushi!!!!
He actually loved it, although a little on the spicy side, said it was absolutely delicious!!!

Oh my gosh, are you now Floridians officially? That's gotta feel weird! But I sure can't blame you with all that beautiful weather surrounding you. Hilarious story about the sushi rolls!
